Hello! It has been quite a while since I’ve posted! Just wanted to drop in and say we are still here 👋🏻👍🏻 Just been focusing on projects and family 🫶🏻

We’ve been working on a whole-home decluttering project for an amazing military family 🇺🇸 So grateful for their service and sacrifice for our nation. It’s been an awesome project and I will be sharing more of their before & afters in coming weeks!

Had the best time working on @brindisirahnephotography kitchen. She is a true minimalist, and despite having tons of cabinet space, she still purged almost half of what she had. It can be SO therapeutic only having what you need and use. We rearranged the layout of her kitchen so that she had proper prep, cooking, and cleaning zones and installed drawer organizers to help keep all the tools in order. So happy with the outcome of this kitchen! ✨

Literally did not have time to do this (proof: didn’t have enough clean glassware or time to press the napkins. Wrinkles are part of the spooky effect tonight 👻). But I’ve been a real buzz kill on Halloween this year and want to have a fun dinner tonight with the kids. Had all this stuff on hand and made candle holders out of apples since I didn’t have four matching ones. I think it turned out pretty cute for a last minute- just throw it together using what you have- table setting. Despite what Instagram says, fun doesn’t have to be perfect 🎃 Happy Halloween!

Spice cabinet upgrade ✔️

Love how much better it looks when you have uniform spice jars for regular and bulk spices. Added a lazy Susan for the condiments and put all the baking items in bins on the top shelf since they are used least often. I love this solution because nothing gets lost in the back 👍🏻

It may seem silly, but having just one style hanger makes a huge difference visually. I also like to organize like items by color, but if they are all on different style/color hangers- it just isn’t as clean.

My favorite budget-friendly hangers are the ones from Costco- black flocked, but if you have an aversion to velvety textures there are great rubber options on Amazon.

Saw the cold front on its way so took a few minutes to tidy up the garage/gym. Getting the summers worth of dust and grass swept out and vacuuming the carpet makes it feels so good. Excited to workout in this fresh space! Now I just need a heater 🥶

Something to consider when organizing….

Every time we work with a new client, we ask several questions about how they live BEFORE purchasing a single thing.

This client had some physical limitations, so everything must be within reach. She also didn’t want anything hidden. Utilizing multiple lazy-Susan’s was the perfect way to deliver a working system for this clients needs. Risers, baskets, or just stacking items in would work great for some people, but definitely wasn’t a good fit here. Yes, there’s a lot of unused space, but this was all she had.

I just want to remind you that it’s okay for your systems to look different than what you see online. We all live differently, so our homes -should- all be different 🫶🏻✨

This office is 🔥🔥🔥! Freshly remodeled with @rhondaray22’s amazing design, this custom home office system was a dream to organize. So much functional storage, beautiful finishes, integrated lighting, stunning decor and multiple works zones makes this space more like a retreat than an office! So excited for this client to have this new work space to enjoy.

A quick move-in for this primary closet. In just a few hours, we replaced all the plastic hangers, sorted all the clothes and created a flow that made sense for them. At the end she said, “I can’t believe we moved here yesterday!”

I’ve been terrible at documenting our work lately 😵‍💫. No before photos, and I didn’t get an after pic without the pile of “give to the cousins” items. So yah- not the best work pics- but still wanted to share the clean garage vibes 🤗. This is the kids play equipment zone, which is ready for some action now that school’s out. Happy first day of summer break 🌞

Make it personal✨. Dig deep, look through those sentimental storage boxes, and absolutely ditch the generic art. Print photos of your loved ones, or favorite memories, or even favorite places that are actually meaningful to you. Pull out and encase/frame those items that you just can’t get rid of, and put them to use! Now, it does take a bit of skill to work these items in a space without it looking like a yard sale (no one wants that). If you need help with that, let me know!

This is going to not only make your office way better to be in, but if/when others see your space, they will get to see the much more authentic and interesting reflection of you! Why be generic, when you could be wildly interesting?

I don’t think I’ll ever forget the way this couple argued over what should stay in the closet. It was -the nicest fighting- you’ve ever heard, and I laughed so much with them. Not sure if that’s the result of being married 43 years or the secret to how to stay married for 43 years, but it was a pleasure to witness. I am pleased to report, both of them were very happy with the final results 😊

@aprilbasi got it right and had this beautiful closet system added to her new construction home (designed by @rhondaray22).

This is beneficial for three reasons:

1️⃣ It makes it less likely for your closets to become a dumping ground for unnecessary items (aka overwhelm city)

2️⃣ Helps you establish behavior patters that are more tidy. In a new space, it can be easier to become a tidy person than in a space that you’re already habitually messy.

3️⃣ You maximize your investment. If you’re going to build it out, the sooner you do it, the longer you get to enjoy it 🤌🏻

I love the mirrored cabinet- storing my clients winter coats and sweaters. The built in drawers are perfect for undergarments and tees. The shoe storage holds way more than you’d expect, and the valet rods are so nice when putting together outfits. It’s so clean and beautiful, you want to spend time in here ✨

We took down the tree and sorted, stored and labeled all the containers. Next year, setting up is going to be a breeze. All the bins, 4 tree boxes, porch decor, wreaths, are all in one place 👍🏻

(If my client wasn’t renting- we would be going one step further with the garage. But for now- this is working. In case you are like me and want to see that garage floor open up 😂)

Gave this art station an overhaul for a sweet young artist. Never disappoints when kids see their spaces set up to work for them. She was so excited that we labeled the drawer bins, making it much easier for her to know where things go.

Lots of inventory in both of these spaces, but my assistants and I were able to get everything in a logical place. (Would you believe they moved in less a#than two weeks ago? 🤩).

Lots of inventory in both of these spaces, but my assistants and I were able to get everything in a logical place. (Would you believe they moved in less a#than two weeks ago? 🤩).

This pantry was tight for space. It became the catch all for food, crafting, and party supplies and was really frustrating for our client. We were able to add a lot of storage and really maximize the space for their family. The Elfa system works so well in tight spaces and is flexible so they can modify it as their needs change. So happy for them!

Wrapped up this garage last week as a surprise for our clients husband. They moved in about a year ago, but there were still tons of moving boxes and nothing was readily available. We were able to maximize the storage systems to make it so much easier to find what they need. Now, when it’s time to grab the boating supplies or the Christmas lights, it’s no longer a chore. So happy with how this turned out!

Spring/summer is right around the corner 🙌🏻 are you looking forward to warmer days, or dreading the heat?

We had a fun project yesterday getting this sun porch ready for pool party season ☀️. Our client loves hosting and needed everything consolidated and stored in one place. We put all of the paper goods, utensils, grilling and serving items out by the bbq so they are within reach of the grill. No more dripping swimsuits tracking through the kitchen into the pantry to grab a cup or plate 🙌🏻

A House of Order just got a new mascot 😍! Introducing Ruby, our new little #vizsla pup. I had to run to the #containerstore today to grab some supplies for an upcoming project. I’ll be sharing some of the pet care products I’ve purchased for my home soon 🐾

A bit of mud room management here 🙌🏻. Swipe to see the how it was before- a drop zone for anything and everything. Functionally, this space wasn’t really defined for the family. It was just a place to shove stuff, but after asking questions about their lifestyle, accessibility, and priorities, we were able to create a sustainable solution. We relocated some items to more practical places in the house, and assigned drawers to the littles so that they can reach what they need. The baskets up high are for seasonal/occasional items and will be getting labeled this week. The hooks hold everyday bags and items, making it so much easier to find them on the go. Everything has a place 💫

This room 🤗! It’s technically called a homework room, but since our client’s little lady is only 3, it’s going to be used primarily as an arts and crafts room- which is SO much more fun 🎨. Lots of storage for all the art supplies, games, and books. It’s the perfect place to get creative.

Spent the morning getting this party pantry ready to party 🎊. My client had a terrible move-in experience, there was stuff shoved in the wrong places in every room. We’ve been working through this closet and the homework room today. So much fun getting all of the party supplies in order, and then all of the other things to their proper places. We gave this playroom a major overhaul today 💪🏻

We removed excess furniture, pillows, and so many stuffies 🧸 we also donated a lot of items this little one has outgrown.

With a little rearranging, we were able to clear half of the room and make space for a gymnastics area. This is now a lot more usable for our clients little girl.

Love this storage solution my assistant, Melinda, came up with for keeping four girl’s art & activity books organized. It’s so much easier to reach in and find the type you want now that they are separated by use, instead of all in a pile in the back. The labels are clean and simple, and oh so pretty 🤩.

A little after & before to wrap up the week. After a good purge, new shelving, and using the bins she already had, we were able to get our clients garage in shape for her car and a new golf cart. She not only got the additional parking space, but also can access anything she needs without having to dig through piles. All the bins are labeled and categorized 🤩 Organizing really does make life easier!!
